                                                   Need help downloading yahoo data on ^VIX

Can u help me download yahoo data on volatility index ^VIX from yahoo. I tried using historical data downloader and it didn't work for ^VIX.

^VIX is the correct symbol. It does get data. Check with "Symbol -> Update Symbol" that the "Name1" field is not set to something different.
